You will also play a key role in influencing product development.\nThis position reports to the Director of Sales Engineering on the Sales Engineering team. Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning, customer training, system optimization, etc.\nBecome an expert on the operation and application of Silvus' unique radio and networking solutions and its advantages over competing technologies.\nPrepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.\nVisit customer sites to provide technical support and deliver training.\nTroubleshoot failures and abnormal situations in the field.\nCollect and analyze field failures and abnormalities and provide feedback to the development team.\nHelp design engineers reproduce and troubleshoot problems.\nParticipate in resource allocation and hardware maintenance to support different sales and business development activities.\nHelp drive future product development.\nTravel requirements -

50%; frequent travel for meetings, events, and demonstrations.\nRequired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other related technical fields with at least 2 years of demonstrated experience in a pre- and post-sales technical support position; OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in a pre- and post-sales technical support position.\nProficiency with radio frequency instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.\nWillingness to travel and work at customer sites.\nSecurity Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen

due to clients under U.S. government contracts.\nAll employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.\nPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Familiarity with Linux.\nProficiency with TCP/IP protocol and networking.\nExperience with operating and testing IP radios/modems.\nKnowledge of wireless communication systems, radio frequency signal propagation, and digital communication technologies.\nProficiency with programming languages such as C/C++.\nExcellent organization skills and attention to detail.\nDemonstrated written and verbal communication skills.\nWorking Conditions & Physical Requirements

Trade shows.\nOutdoor environment for demos.\nOccasional exposure to heat, cold, and allergens while performing tests or demonstrations in the field.\nLift equipment up to 20 lbs. for the setup of demonstrations and testing.\nCompensation
