Position Purpose: The Loan Processor must believe in, practice, and initiate all Green Brick Partners values set forth in an acronym we call HOME. They must be Honest, Objective, Mature and Efficient in how they approach their role at Green Brick Partners.

Green Brick Mortgage is looking for a detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our team in Plano, TX. As a Loan Processor, you will be responsible for preparing and organizing loan files, ensuring all necessary documents are collected and compliant with company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
Verify borrower information through third-party vendors.
Collect and organize all necessary documentation from borrowers.
Communicate with Loan Officers, Underwriters, and borrowers to resolve any issues.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Prepare loan files for underwriting and closing.

Supervision of Others: N/A

Authority/Budget/Decision Making/Discretion And Independent Judgment Ability

Utilizes discretion, judgment, and high-level analytical skills to interpret complex situations.

Education

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree preferred.

Competencies

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and regulations.
Proficiency in loan origination and processing software.
Excellent communication skills.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage loan processing.

This position consists of maintaining and editing all CAD related files including construction documents, floor plans and architectural renderings for Trophy Signature Homes.

Responsibilities

Assist and/or create and maintain all DWG files within AutoCad.

Must be able to review and identify plan inaccuracies related to code and Trophy specifications.

Collaborative review process with another Cad drafter.

Work with sales, marketing, purchasing and construction to review and markup plans for future changes.

Track, review and complete approved plan changes.

Review completed documents received by outside consultants including framing, floor system, renderings, brochures and architectural plans.

Work with starts and permits department to resolve any plan related issues.

Authority/Budget/Decision Making/Discretion and Independent Judgment Requirements\nN/A

Working Relationships Inside the Company\nV. P. of Purchasing, Estimators, Purchasing Dept., Marketing, Starts.

Working Relationships Outside the Company\nArchitects/Designers, Structural Engineers, Vendors/Trades, Marketing vendors.

Physical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.

Location\nPlano Corporate Office, this is not a Hybrid or Remote position.

Education\nCollege degree helpful but not necessary, any Project Management certification helpful, basic computer skills required.

Experience

3 years of residential architecture experience.

3 years’ AutoCAD experience required.

Revit experience preferred but not required.

Architectural rendering/Graphic design preferred but not required.

Autodesk Review experience preferred.

Competencies

Must possess the ability to produce full construction documents and create new floor plans/elevations with directions from the V. P. of Purchasing.

Knowledge of the homebuilding industry required.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Must possess good communication skills.

Must be able to set priorities and react to time‑critical work.

Must manage and track each project to completion.
