About the role:

Join one of the fastest-growing areas in med tech as an Account Manager, AF Solutions (WATCHMAN™ & FARAPULSE™) at Boston Scientific . In this impactful role, you’ll partner with electrophysiologists, hospital administrators and lab staff to bring innovative solutions to patients living with atrial fibrillation (AFib).

Your responsibilities will include:

Drive sales of the AF Solutions portfolio to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
Schedule and conduct sales calls with current and prospective customers to promote product solutions.
Analyze territory data and develop strategic action plans in collaboration with your Regional Sales Manager.
Provide in-lab clinical support during procedures to understand physician workflows and optimize product use.
Deliver product presentations and demonstrations across professional settings and platforms.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, lab staff and purchasing teams.
Create pricing proposals that align with both customer needs and company policy.
Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot customer issues and identify effective solutions.
Promote therapy awareness through hospital events, conferences and local educational programs.

Required qualifications:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of two years’ experience in medical device or hospital-based sales (e.g., cardiology, cath lab or EP lab).
Strong clinical, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in electrophysiology, structural heart or interventional cardiology.
Familiarity with device implantation procedures in cardiovascular settings.
Proven success working collaboratively within high‑performance teams.
Coachable, with a growth mindset and openness to feedback.

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full‑time position will be $50,000 , plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non‑discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

We are setting a new standard of care for non-valvular atrial fibrillation patients through innovative Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC) therapy. Purpose Statement

This position is responsible for driving the adoption and utilization of the Watchman device within the assigned territory. The role involves close collaboration with key opinion leaders (KOLs), development of new hospital accounts, and providing procedural and clinical support. You will also work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to execute strategic projects and ensure clinical excellence in Watchman procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales and market expansion strategies through strong clinical sales activities aligned with company goals
Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including electrophysiologists (EP), interventional cardiologists (IC), Cath lab staff, and hospital administrators
Identify new business opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally to drive market growth
Manage product registration and pricing contract processes with direct-purchase hospitals, leading approval procedures in compliance with internal and external regulations
Provide on-site procedural and clinical support for Watchman implants (A highly specialized role that requires structured training and extensive field experience to achieve full proficiency)
Support and coordinate physician training and proctorship programs to strengthen procedural competency and adoption
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve product-related issues and address customer requests during clinical support
Conduct post-procedure monitoring and provide ongoing support to enhance customer satisfaction and follow-up care
Work collaboratively within the team to ensure seamless case coverage and customer support when procedural schedules overlap
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of LAAC therapy, atrial fibrillation management, and structural heart disease trends and clinical advancements
Participate in medical conferences, workshops, and educational events to promote awareness of Watchman and LAAC therapy
Educate healthcare professionals on the clinical benefits and appropriate use of the Watchman device
Enhance Watchman brand visibility and strengthen therapy awareness among physicians and market stakeholders
Must be willing to travel within the assigned territory (e.g., Seoul, Gyeongsang, or Chunghonam) as needed to provide field-based procedural support and ensure full area coverage

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred majors: Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Life Sciences, or related field)
3–5 years of experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
Strong understanding of cardiac imaging, electrophysiology, or structural heart disease (e.g., LAAC, TAVI, PFO, etc.)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with physicians and hospital stakeholders
High level of self-motivation, ownership, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Korean
Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally to support cases and training programs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in interventional or structural heart procedures (e.g., LAAC, PFA, SH) or as an Echocardiographer (Cardiac Sonographer)
Experience in conducting clinical education, proctorship, or physician training programs
Proven track record of achieving sales goals and driving market growth
