
We are seeking a strategic, hands on fractional CFO to help lead the financial engine behind our private money lending platform and affiliated real estate investment entities. This role is ideal for a senior finance leader who understands both debt and equity structures, thrives in entrepreneurial environments, and enjoys building scalable financial systems that support disciplined growth. This position begins at approximately 10 hours per week, with flexibility to scale based on company needs and performance.
Responsibilities
Oversee financial preparation, reporting, and monthly close processes
Build and manage budgets, rolling forecasts, and long range financial plans
Lead cash flow forecasting and liquidity management across entities and funds
Develop and maintain fund level and deal level financial models
Structure debt and equity transactions with tax efficiency and risk discipline
Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and capital stack optimization
Oversee investor reporting, capital account tracking, and performance metrics
Coordinate with external CPAs on tax preparation, K-1s, 1099s, and required filings
Ensure fund level regulatory compliance and financial controls
Preferred Qualifications
7-10 years of finance leadership experience including CFO or VP Finance roles
Direct experience in private lending, hard money lending, private credit, or real estate finance
Deep understanding of real estate mechanics including acquisition, development, value add strategies, and capital stacks
Advanced financial modeling capability at both deal and portfolio levels
Proven expertise in cash flow management and liquidity planning
Strong working knowledge of fund compliance and investor reporting requirements
Sophisticated understanding of tax strategy related to debt, equity, and real estate investing
CPA strongly preferred
