The team operates in a highly consultative manner, serving as both product and technical experts, while partnering with Sales and Account Management, Product and Engineering teams to design and deliver optimal connectivity solutions.The **Director of Connectivity Certifications** is a senior technical and business leader with a deep understanding of Aven Hospitality’s functional and technical ecosystem, including integration with internal and external systems. This role serves as a thought leader with customers and partners, shaping API adoption strategies, influencing product priorities, and evangelizing Aven Hospitality’s solutions and roadmaps across the industry.The Director will lead connectivity certification strategy, partner management, and API-first onboarding, ensuring strong alignment between AH capabilities and customer business objectives while positioning Aven Hospitality as a preferred connectivity partner.**Key Responsibilities**Lead and develop a team of industry and subject-matter experts responsible for connectivity integrations across Aven Hospitality products and services.Define and execute Connectivity Certifications strategy aligned to business goals, customer needs and product roadmaps.Drive operational excellence by establishing scalable processes, procedures, and governance models, leveraging automation and AI where applicable.Champion an API-first approach across customers, partners, and internal teams.Drive onboarding of new API connectivity partners and customer, ensuring consistent certification standards and best practices.Ensure the ongoing success and performance of existing integrations while ensuring adherence to commercially-agreed upon standards.Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to support new and existing partner opportunities.Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to influence product development, pipeline prioritization, and defect remediation.Drive customer and partner satisfaction through strong collaboration, transparency, and technical leadership.Strengthen the “stickiness” of AH applications by ensuring integrations deliver measurable business value.Own and evolve the Connectivity Partner Management strategy, including:* Intake and evaluation of new connectivity partners* Market enablement and partner readiness* Ongoing partner relationship management and maintenance* Participation in industry and market events**Key Knowledge and Skill Requirements*** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Diverse experience in technical and architectural concepts including product development, platform operations, API integration and solution performance* Ability to lead or influence individuals or teams* Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships* Strong verbal, written and presentation skills* Creative thinker and problem solver* Strong interpersonal and communication skills* Self-motivated, results-oriented professional**Qualifications / Experience*** 10+ years of connectivity experience* Four-year college degree, Bachelors preferred (or additional relevant experience in a related field)* Product or Partner management experience is preferred* Experience in Hospitality or Travel Distribution industry* Experience working with C-suite level stakeholders* Strong business acumen* Technical savvy* Strong working knowledge of Aven Hospitality products and services* Expertise in SOAP and REST APIs* Relational or non-relational database query experience**Preferred Skills*** Product Management experience for software systems working in an Agile scrum environment* Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle* Knowledgeable in HTNG and OpenTravel Alliance industry standards* Experience with Opera PMS or other hotel systems**Outstanding Benefits*** Very competitive compensation* Generous Paid Time Off (25 PTO days)* 8 Hours Annually Volunteer Time Off (VTO)* We offer a comprehensive medical, dental and Wellness Program* 12 weeks paid parental leave* An infrastructure that allows flexible working arrangements* Formal and informal reward, recognition and acknowledgement programs**Reasonable Accommodation**Aven Hospitality is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to applicants with disabilities.
