The
Compliance Investigations Manager
is responsible for leading and managing internal compliance investigations related to regulatory violations, ethical concerns, fraud, misconduct, and policy breaches. This role ensures investigations are conducted objectively, thoroughly, and in compliance with legal and regulatory standards while promoting a culture of integrity and accountability across the organization.
This position operates in a fully remote environment and requires strong analytical judgment, investigative expertise, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex compliance investigations involving internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical concerns
Develop investigation plans, gather evidence, interview witnesses, and document findings
Ensure investigations are conducted fairly, confidentially, and in accordance with legal and compliance frameworks
Prepare clear, detailed investigative reports and recommendations for leadership
Collaborate with legal, HR, audit, and risk management teams as needed
Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions or policy improvements
Monitor and track investigation outcomes, trends, and risk indicators
Support development and improvement of compliance policies and training programs
Maintain investigation records and case management systems in accordance with regulatory standards
Provide guidance and mentorship to compliance or investigative staff
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Law, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
7–10 years of experience
in compliance investigations, internal investigations, corporate ethics, or risk management
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, corporate governance, and compliance programs
Proven experience conducting investigations involving fraud, misconduct, or regulatory violations
Excellent analytical, interviewing, and report-writing skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
High ethical standards and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially
Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (JD, MBA, or related field)
Professional certifications such as
CCEP, CFE, CAMS, or similar
Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, technology, or government contracting)
Familiarity with case management and compliance monitoring systems
Experience managing investigative teams or programs
Compensation
Annual Salary Range:
$130,000 – $175,000 USD , based on experience, credentials, and organizational scope
