
Marketing Tracking Specialist
owns the technical implementation and governance of marketing and website tracking. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, scalable, and privacy-compliant data collection across websites, platforms, and media channels. The specialist will implement and maintain Google Tag Manager configurations, manage GA4 event frameworks, and support advanced tracking initiatives—including server-side tracking—while working closely with analytics, media, and development teams.

Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of hands-on digital tracking implementation experience, including at least:
3+ years Google Tag Manager
3+ years GA4 implementation
2+ years paid media tracking integrations
Multi-site tracking architecture experience
Must live in the metro St. Louis area (or be willing to relocate) and work from the Cannonball office at least three days per week, with flexibility based on client and team needs
Preferred Experience
Experience with Conversions APIs (Meta, Google Ads Enhanced Conversions, etc.)
Familiarity with consent management platforms (CookieScript, OneTrust, etc.)
Experience working alongside developers (Django, React, Shopify, CMS platforms)
Experience with CRM or backend integrations (HubSpot, APIs, webhooks)
Basic SQL or data analysis experience for validation and QA
