The

Marketing Data Analyst

is responsible for transforming marketing and business data into clear, actionable insights. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and marketing strategy—Supporting internal teams and clients by building reliable datasets, writing advanced SQL queries, and developing dashboards that drive decision‑making. This individual will work closely with media, analytics, and leadership teams to ensure performance is measured accurately and insights are delivered consistently.

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years writing advanced SQL queries in production environments

2+ years working in a cloud data warehouse environment

2+ years building dashboards in Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, etc

2+ years working directly with paid media platforms like Meta, Google Ads, DV360, Linkedin, GA‑4, etc

2+ years transling raw data into clear insights and recommendations

2+ years validating data accuracy and troubleshooting discrepancies

Preferred Experience

1+ year hands‑on experience in BigQuery strongly preferred

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools or data pipelines

Experience working with GA4 event‑level data

Knowledge of marketing attribution and measurement frameworks (incrementality, MMM, etc.)

Experience supporting agency or multi‑client environments

Python or scripting experience for data manipulation and automation

Requirements Must live in the metro St. Louis area (or be willing to relocate) and work from the Cannonball office at least three days per week, with flexibility based on client and team needs.
