Job Details We are seeking a Junior Estimator to join our growing preconstruction team in Irvine. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career construction professional who is analytical, detail‑oriented, and motivated to build a long‑term career in estimating. You will gain hands‑on experience in takeoffs, bid leveling, subcontractor coordination, and proposal development while working closely with senior leadership.
What You’ll Do
Assist with detailed quantity takeoffs across multiple trades
Solicit, organize, and review subcontractor and vendor pricing
Maintain and manage bid documents, drawings, and specifications
Support preparation of budgets, proposals, and bid packages
Analyze scopes of work to identify gaps and overlaps
Attend pre‑bid meetings and site walks with senior estimators
Maintain historical cost data and estimating databases
Partner with project management and operations teams for smooth post‑award handoff
What You’ll Bring
1+ year of construction experience preferred (internship/co‑op acceptable)
Working knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (takeoff software a plus)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Clear communication skills and team‑oriented mindset
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
