Monday thru Friday 37 ½ hours per week, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

Pay Range:

$73,677 - $100,223/ YR

Job Summary Oversite of Facility Operations, Capital Projects, Department Budgets and identified regulatory requirements. Required to work with Managers at all levels to ensure a safe living and working environment.

Job Qualifications

Associates degree in related field or equivalent documented experience.

Minimum 3 years supervisory experience, 7 years building and equipment maintenance experience, 2 years' experience in budgets, inventory control, purchasing, etc.

Good communication skills.

Valid NYS Drivers license that meets agency standards and reliable transportation.

CPR certification required.

Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.

Major Responsibilities

Direct supervision of Maintenance Manager, Project Development Manager, Construction Manager, Facility Support Supervisor, Night Custodian Supervisor and Administrative Secretary.

Identification/oversight of agency construction/renovation projects.

Review and approval of all documentation, work orders, preventive maintenance programs, purchase requisitions.

Provide back-up for Director of Facility Management for supervision; property management; development, adoption, and implementation of agency Facility Management capital projects budget; and Safety Program.

Clerk of the works responsibilities for designated Capital Projects.

Perform NYS Building Code compliance and operation compliance of Life Safety Code and OSHA.

Ensure Maintenance Department compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local building codes.

Assist Director of Facility Management with operational and capital project budget.

Ensure all department/agency policies and procedures are followed.

Provide person centered individual attention to all consumers.

Follow safe operating procedures with regard to use of tools of the trade. This includes the use of knives and cutting devices in the course of work. This position is exempt from the knives restriction as outlined in the Workplace Violence Prevention Policy as knives are considered tools of the trade.
