Job Description
As the Associate Brand Manager, Beverages, you will play a key role in supporting and shaping Taco Bell’s fast‑growing beverage business and helping drive one of our newest beverage concepts, Live Más Café. As part of the beverage category team, you will help lead the development and execution of breakthrough, multi‑channel marketing campaigns that drive sales, build brand love, and strengthen Taco Bell’s position as a beverage destination.
This position reports to the Manager, Beverage Marketing, and plays an integral role in advancing our ambition to build a multi‑billion‑dollar beverage business.
Responsibilities
Lead and support Live Más Café beverage marketing campaigns, from developing creative briefs and guiding creative development to in‑market execution in partnership with cross‑functional and agency teams.
Partner with cross‑functional teams (Advertising, Food Innovation, Consumer Insights, Operations, Finance, Sales Analysis, Supply Chain, Architecture & Development, Local Store Marketing) to develop integrated, multi‑channel activations that support the Live Mas Café calendar and effectively engage target consumers.
Interpret and use consumer insights to inform decision‑making, leveraging research, testing, and performance data to inform briefs, platform strategy, and messaging.
Help build Live Más Café as a destination by supporting menu storytelling, merchandising, digital experiences, and launch communications.
Help craft compelling presentations for partners at all levels, effectively communicating business challenges, opportunities, and recommendations.
Manage cross‑functional inputs, timelines, and routing, ensuring creative consistency, compliance, and on‑time delivery.
Lead cross‑functional meetings – providing key updates and seeking out critical cross‑functional input to move projects forward.
Partner with Coach to develop strategic documents for program recommendations, launch & promotional plans, and alignments within established processes.
Monitor category trends, competitive activity, and cultural beverage shifts to inform strategic recommendations and long‑range roadmap planning.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in brand management or related roles.
BA or BS Degree; MBA preferred.
Ad agency experience is a plus.
1‑2 years’ experience with project management, cross‑functional coordination/organization.
1+ years’ experience with creative or communication brief writing.
Microsoft Office, Strong PowerPoint skills a must.
Strong internal motivation, intellectual curiosity, logical yet flexible thinking, and desire to have a large impact on our organization.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and multi‑task in a complex, fast‑paced, and deadline‑driven environment.
Resourceful nature, with strong problem‑solving and interpersonal communication skills.
