Job Summary The Product Compliance Specialist supports the execution of quality assurance compliance programs. This role is responsible for maintaining documentation, assisting in audit reviews, and process quality incidents to ensure supplier compliance. The specialist maintains nutritional and allergen data for menu items.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain and organize quality and food safety documentation, including product specifications, SOPs, and audit records
Support internal and third-party audit preparation and execution (e.g., SQF, FDA, USDA, GFSI)
Assist with regulatory compliance initiatives, including FSMA and food labeling verifications
Collaborate with suppliers and co-manufacturers to collect and validate quality documentation (e.g., COAs, allergen statements)
Maintain nutritional and allergen information for all menu items.
Stay up to date on food safety regulations and help implement policy changes as directed by the QA leadership team
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with guidance
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree - preferred
Education or Certificate Details Food Science, Food Technology, Food Microbiology or similar background
Work Experience 2-4 years
Related Experience 1-2 years quality assurance experience in chain restaurant or food manufacturing setting
Physical Requirements
Lifting/pushing objects weighing over 40 lbs.
Basic keyboarding or other repetitive motions
