Position Overview Diversified Roofing Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Sales Specialist to support and grow our presence within the architectural and construction community. This role focuses on navigating existing project specifications, promoting the roofing and wall product lines we represent, and supporting our customer base through the bidding and sales process. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Review and navigate architectural specifications for roofing and wall product systems we represent
Identify opportunities for product substitutions and submit substitution requests to architects and design teams
Communicate product information, technical details, and company capabilities to architects, specifiers, and customers
Set and coordinate meetings for architectural presentations
Conduct architectural presentations when willing and comfortable (optional based on employee interest)
Work closely with existing customers to provide accurate pricing for bid opportunities
Proactively reach out to customers regarding potential leads based on project specifications
Maintain organized records of specifications, substitutions, customer interactions, and opportunities
Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to support project success
Qualifications
Experience in architectural sales, roofing, building materials, or construction-related industries preferred
Strong understanding of architectural specifications and the construction bidding process is a plus
Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and CRM or tracking systems
Willingness to travel locally as needed for meetings or presentations
Commission and bonus opportunities
Ability to work from home
