Merchandiser position requires a reliable vehicle and a $2500 sign‑on bonus. Benefits start day one (health, dental, vision, 401K options). Paid holiday, vacation, and sick time.
Morning shifts, paid weekly, mileage reimbursement $0.725 per mile.
Responsibilities
Merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts.
Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf.
Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location using equipment such as U‑boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
Display promotional material such as signs and banners.
Keep backroom stock neat and orderly.
Communicate store issues to store managers and PepsiCo management.
Build customer relationships at the store level.
Comply with operating procedures (scan‑in/scan‑out, designated route, etc.).
Service accounts during designated times established by management.
Deliver customer service (communication, rapport building, attentiveness to customer needs).
Operate with minimal supervision (self‑managed role).
Use handheld devices to write/input orders.
Maintain regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
Qualifications
18 years or older
Pass the physical capabilities test (if applicable)
Must have car or personal transportation to access multi‑store locations within assigned shift
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Proof of insurance
Helpful Experience
Working for a retail business or grocery store (understanding store operations, backroom, inventory, stocking aisles and shelves).
Moving products within a store using equipment such as U‑boats, hand trucks, or similar.
Merchandising products (filling shelves, building displays, making products look attractive, rotating products, cleaning shelves, eliminating out‑of‑stocks and out‑of‑date products).
Managing backroom/stock room inventory (organizing pallets, stacking and storing inventory or products).
Serving customers (handling complaints, responding to requests, or meeting needs).
Background Check Because the material job duties of this role involve regular field work away from a physical company location, the Company has good cause to conduct a review of criminal history in accordance with applicable laws. A conditional offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre‑employment background check and drug screening. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
