Longevity Opportunity Vision Enjoy the Game! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing RDBMS and NoSQL solutions, optimizing performance, implementing replication and high availability, and providing support to development teams. Troubleshooting and problem‑solving will be a key part of your role.

Responsibilities

Manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions

Ensure database performance, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery across environments deployed on bare‑metal servers and virtual machines

Implement and manage replication chains, partitioning/sharding, backups

Assist development teams in creating, optimizing, and problem‑solving with RDBMS and NoSQL solutions

Troubleshooting

Drive automation using Terraform, Puppet, and custom tooling for infrastructure and database lifecycle management

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study

Expert-level experience with at least one of MySQL, PostgreSQL

Familiarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions

Strong knowledge of SQL (DDL, DML, DCL)

Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms

Proficiency in Linux

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non‑technical stakeholders

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

English language proficiency at B2 level or higher

A plus if:

Experience in scripting, automation, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Bash/Python)

Team management experience

Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix
