Our expertise includes construction, architectural design, virtual design and construction (VDC), trade services, and LEED/sustainable design management. Our projects typically range from $30 M to over $100 M, located across the U.S., including California, Washington, Virginia, North Carolina and internationally at U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

We're seeking an experienced

Construction Superintendent

to join our Field Operations team in Norfolk, VA. In this role, you'll oversee all daily job site operations, including the supervision of subcontractors, coordination of work activities, and enforcement of safety and quality standards. You will ensure all construction work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with the project's scope and our company's

Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day field operations, ensuring work meets RFPs, plans, specs, and proposal documents

Direct and coordinate the efforts of employees and subcontractors on‑site

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

Manage schedule, budget, and materials to keep projects on track

Foster a collaborative, safety‑conscious work environment

Act as a liaison between field crews, clients, and office/project management teams

Qualifications

Minimum:

High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

College coursework or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

Government, military, or large commercial project experience preferred

Prior experience in Design‑Build and large‑scale projects strongly preferred

Required:

5+ years as a Superintendent on mid‑size commercial projects

4+ years (or equivalent) of field/trade experience in the construction industry

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet tools

Familiarity with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit (preferred)

Certifications:

CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30, EM‑385, and STS required (training provided if needed)

LEED GA or AP certification is desirable

Other Skills:

Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
