
Sales Account Executive - Industrial Construction

This position is remote but candidates in or near Ohio, specifically northern Ohio, will be strongly considered.
At least 3‑5 years experience selling or servicing industrial manufacturing clients. Industrial Construction experience also a plus.
Job Description This position is responsible for leading the acquisition of new customers to achieve the company’s revenue goals. The position will involve prospecting and selling to buyers in our client’s core market of Glass Manufacturing, where we are a market leader, as well as pioneering the sale of safety and compliance consulting in attractive adjacent markets. These efforts may also be complemented by inorganic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in goal attainment selling services into facilities leadership/site engineers in manufacturing. Experience in the safety and glass manufacturing spaces is preferred, but not required. This position requires resourcefulness, curiosity, and strong outbound sales capabilities. For the right professional, this represents the opportunity to build out the sales function at a well-resourced business poised for significant growth.
$150,000 Salary + Bonus and full benefits, up to $225,000+ overall.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Establish an outreach process to historical customers
Identify and pursue new target accounts
Attend industry events to build relationships with decision makers within the glass manufacturing ecosystem and beyond
Maintain an updated opportunity pipeline of immediate and long‑term commercial opportunities
Participate in weekly pipeline meetings
Provide accurate revenue forecasting on business development activities
Establish a referral process to generate pipeline from satisfied customers
Monitor customer stakeholders to identify when they switch organizations
Collaborate closely with our project management team to scope and win projects
Collaborate with leadership team to identify, assess and test new adjacent markets
Advocate for initiatives to develop new business pipeline
Performance Analysis and Reporting
Within 3 months of hire date, meet or exceed monthly sales objectives
Meticulously document key information for each opportunity, including project information related to long‑term projects
Demonstrate the ability to effectively build opportunity pipeline
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years in commercial roles
Experience selling services to manufacturing clients
Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
Experience in using CRM software for sales tracking, pipeline management, and data analysis
Must be able and remain flexible to travel to various current and prospective customers, team meetings and industry events as needed
Must possess a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
Experience with the safety or glass manufacturing space is a plus, but not required
Required Skills and Abilities
