
Retail Property Manager
An established, vertically integrated real estate investment firm is seeking a
Retail Property Manager
to oversee the operational and financial performance of a portfolio of owned retail assets across several markets. This is an owner-side position offering direct exposure to asset management and executive leadership. The ideal candidate will operate independently, serve as the primary ownership representative at the property level, and drive disciplined execution aligned with asset-level business plans.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as primary liaison between ownership and third-party property managers and vendors
Oversee property operations to ensure assets are well‑maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently
Prepare and manage annual operating budgets
Monitor monthly financial performance and address variances
Review rent collections, CAM reconciliations, and operating expenses
Act as ownership’s point of contact for tenant communication and issue resolution
Oversee maintenance and capital projects in coordination with asset management
Deliver concise, executive‑ready monthly reporting
Qualifications
3–7 years of retail or commercial property management experience
Strong financial acumen (budgeting, variance analysis, expense control)
Experience overseeing vendors or third‑party managers
Familiarity with retail lease structures and CAM administration
