We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant to join our transactional team. Our real estate practice handles complex commercial acquisitions, development projects, leasing, and multi-million-dollar financing transactions throughout the country. This position is ideal for an experienced legal assistant who values high-level transactional work and client exposure but prefers a collegial setting over large-firm bureaucracy. The Opportunity

You will work directly with experienced real estate attorneys on active commercial matters from start to finish. This is a true transactional role — not purely administrative support. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Winter Springs, FL, for a Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant. Responsibilities include providing administrative and legal support to attorneys in commercial real estate transactions, preparing and reviewing legal documents, coordinating closings, maintaining case files, conducting legal research, managing deadlines, and communicating with clients, lenders, and other involved parties. The role also involves handling confidential information with professionalism and ensuring the seamless execution of legal processes. Qualifications

Proficiency in preparing and reviewing legal documents, including contracts and transactional documentation. Experience with commercial real estate transactions and coordinating closing processes. Strong organizational and administrative skills, including file management, deadline tracking, and document organization. Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with attorneys, clients, and external parties. Proficiency with legal research tools and software commonly used in legal practices. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with real estate terminology and legal procedures is preferred. Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications in legal studies is a plus. Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of law firm experience supporting a commercial real estate or transactional practice Experience coordinating commercial loan closings Strong understanding of real estate terminology and closing workflows Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (styles, track changes, document comparison tools) Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Acrobat (or similar PDF platforms) Experience with document management systems (Perfect Practice a plus) Exceptional organization and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional, client-service oriented demeanor Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
