The Building Automation Service/Solutions Sales Manager promotes Siemens’ market position for smart building technology to help our customers create outstanding experiences. You will lead a team responsible for transforming buildings to be digitally connected and controlled. With strong leadership you will hire top talent, develop employees, and promote long-term retention. Responsibilities

Promote team selling and expansion of existing relationships across divisions and/or geographic areas. Act as a resource to sales employees regarding our products, applications, and services; support the sales process through all phases, including job turnover and implementation. Communicate goals, provide mentoring to develop skills, lead employee performance, conduct appraisals, and coach sellers to assess customer needs and buying priorities. Review bids to ensure accuracy, assist employees in setting margins, identify resources, assess future business, and establish executive-level relationships with targeted contractors and customers. Network with field organization, headquarters, and other Siemens divisions to gain knowledge of offerings, share knowledge, develop sales forecasts, and provide input to sales targets. Assist the sales team in identifying market opportunities; develop strategies to improve impact to the company; participate in long-range sales planning and growth strategies. Articulate and drive our digitalization strategy, remote services, and big data analytics; maintain trade contacts and participate in industry association functions. Travel overnight 20–40% on average for training and business development. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or state-recognized GED 5+ years of sales experience Technical proficiency in mechanical systems, electrical systems, IT, building technologies, and demand-side energy management (preferred) Ability to interpret job specifications and drawings to coach sellers in developing winning strategies Working knowledge of contracting with tiered contractors Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills Verbal and written communication skills in English Experience with Microsoft Office Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and eligibility for Siemens fleet vehicle program Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management experience in the construction industry Proficiency with Salesforce CRM About Siemens
