Senior Manager, Employee Communications Location: Hybrid — Mountain View (2+ days/week, Wed required)

About the Role We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Employee Communications to join the Employee Communications team as a contractor. This role is ideal for a strategic communicator who thrives as a business partner, enjoys advising senior leaders, and is energized by fast-moving, innovative environments. You’ll bring strong storytelling skills to amplify product narratives, engage employees, support organizational change, and drive business results. A genuine curiosity for product development and how large-scale platforms are built is key to success in this role.
What You’ll Do
Serve as a strategic communications advisor to Product executives and senior stakeholders, advising on content, forums, timing, and messaging
Build and execute global product communications strategies for major launches that inform and inspire a worldwide employee audience
Lead end-to-end employee communications for organizational changes, partnering with HR and leadership to clarify strategy, rationale, and sequencing
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop communications plans that support talent initiatives and reinforce culture and values
Help develop, evolve, and maintain digital communications channels for the Product organization
Provide onsite event production support for all-hands meetings and employee engagement events
Support a wide range of internal communications initiatives across the broader Employee Communications team
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of professional communications experience
Strong Written Communication

Experience leading technology communications or strong familiarity with the tech industry
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging messages
Experience supporting organizational change and change management communications
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
Ability to influence and advise senior leaders with confidence and agility
Proven ability to prioritize and perform in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity
Curiosity and growth mindset around emerging technologies, particularly AI tools
Working knowledge of Office 365 and digital employee engagement tools
Education
BA/BS degree is preferred
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $76.15 – $110.00 Hourly on W2 (Depending on Experience).
