Product: The brainchild of an award-winning UT professor, Squarecap is an easy-to-use classroom engagement system designed to make large classrooms feel like small ones. Our system tracks daily attendance, increases comprehension through live questions with personalized feedback, drives peer learning via anonymous student questions, and more.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced salesperson to take ownership of our outbound growth. Squarecap sells directly to professors (the end-user), so your responsibilities will include customer research, outreach, demoing, and onboarding of said professors.

You’ll work directly with the CEO to formalize our existing founder-led sales process into a scalable revenue engine built for rapid growth. You won’t just be following a playbook—you’ll be helping write it.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and execute comprehensive cold outreach campaigns

Own the sales funnel, from lead qualification to live demos to closing deals to onboarding.

Collaborate with the founders to develop and refine sales strategies and processes.

Identify bottlenecks and iterate rapidly through A/B testing and experimentation.

Requirements:

3+ years of strong previous experience and demonstrated success cold emailing, calling, and closing for direct-to-consumer SaaS products (preferably higher education courseware)

Drive, hunger, self-motivation, and resilience in the face of rejection.

Excellent communication, presentation, and technology skills.

Residence in Austin for at least the first six months of the job.

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
