Talent Acquisition Specialist (Remote with the ability for occasional travel to locations in CT and MA)
Must be located in CT, MA, RI, or NH
Salary - $75,000 to $85,000
This Is Not Just Recruiting. This Is Building a Workforce That Changes Lives.
At
Ascentria Care Alliance , our mission comes to life through our people.
Every nurse. Every case manager. Every interpreter. Every advocate. Every direct care professional.
They are the reason a child finds safety. An elder finds dignity. A refugee finds home. A family finds hope.
And we need a recruiter who understands that.
We’re Looking for a Builder
Not someone who posts and waits. Not someone who screens and forwards.
We’re looking for a
top-notch Talent Engagement Strategist with fire in their belly
— someone who knows that recruiting in a $150M mission-driven organization across New England is about strategy, influence, grit, and heart.
This is a remote
role
with flexibility — but make no mistake: this is high-impact, high-accountability work.
What You’ll Actually Do Build Talent Pipelines That Matter You don’t just fill jobs — you build long-term pipelines.
You:
Source creatively across job boards, social media, professional networks, and community events
Use Boolean and advanced sourcing like second nature
Engage passive talent
Read the labor market like a strategist
Elevate the Candidate Experience You understand that candidates talk.
You:
Screen for skill and values alignment
Conduct strong behavioral interviews
Communicate proactively
Move fast
Treat every person with respect and empathy
Because our mission demands compassion — even in recruiting.
You:
Recommend compensation thoughtfully and equitably
Understand pay scale placement
Protect compliance
Ensure every hire is defensible, fair, and aligned
Who You Are You have:
Full-cycle recruiting experience
Strong sourcing and Boolean skills
Experience in healthcare recruiting: long term care a plus
Confidence advising hiring managers
High accountability
Comfort in high-volume, mission-critical hiring
But more importantly…
You have:
Resilience when roles are hard to fill
Compassion in every candidate interaction
Dedication to closing strong
Integrity in every decision
Can – do attitude and a passion to work as a team
You don’t just want a recruiting job.
You want to build something meaningful.
Why Ascentria? We are a $150M nonprofit serving communities across New England through:
Senior care & skilled nursing
Refugee & immigrant services
Disability & mental health programs
Transportation & economic mobility initiatives
Children & family services
When you hire here, you’re not filling seats.
You’re strengthening communities — one person at a time.
If You’re Ready… If you believe recruiting is influence If you believe talent changes outcomes If you believe hiring well is a moral responsibility in mission work
Then we can’t wait to meet you! You bring the fire! We’ll provide the mission!
