Production Coordinator
to oversee daily production and administrative operations. This role is essential in keeping projects on track, coordinating installations, managing materials, and delivering a seamless experience for our customers. Position Summary This is a full-time, on-site position located in Fort Wayne, IN. The Production Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations by managing production schedules, coordinating materials and resources, and supporting installation teams. This role is responsible for keeping projects on track, meeting deadlines, maintaining quality standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage daily production schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
Oversee material ordering, inventory, and job readiness to support efficient installations
Communicate effectively with installers, sales staff, vendors, and customers to provide clear expectations and updates
Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables to maintain workflow efficiency
Identify and resolve scheduling, material, or installation challenges proactively
Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and job records
Ensure all projects meet company quality standards and customer expectations
Qualifications & Skills
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Experience in production coordination, scheduling, or operations management
Proven project management abilities with attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with the flooring, construction, or home improvement industry preferred
Proficiency in Google Workspace and production or project management (CRM) software
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field preferred
Compensation
$20-$25/hr based on experience
