
About the Role:
For our Ferrero Romania business unit based in Bucharest, we are currently looking for a
Modern Trade Channel & Development Manager
to support the Modern Trade and Category Development Manager, to whom will report directly, to act as the main point of contact within Trade Marketing, concerning the assigned channel / category, providing support to Sales and Marketing in the development of the Company Plan, sharing with the team ad-hoc analysis performed, supporting Sales in the preparation of offers to customers and maintaining track of the actual in-store implementation of the agreed activities.
You will need to foster a strong mindset within your direct reports to proactively identify business opportunities and areas for improvement across categories, customers, and channels. Ensure they are well‑prepared to effectively support both Sales and Marketing teams.
Main Responsibilities: In this role, you will bring Ferrero’s brands to life in the retail environment, turning strategic plans into impactful shopper experiences. Working at the intersection of Marketing and Sales, you will translate brand ambitions into tailored customer opportunities, ensuring our products show up in stores in a way that captivates both shoppers and partners.
You will dive into
business performance
to understand how categories evolve, where our brands stand versus competitors, and where growth can come from. These insights will help you
shape portfolio management , promotional direction, and customer‑specific activation plans.
Collaboration will be at the heart of your work. Together with the Key Account Managers, you will
build customer plans
rooted in strong analysis and aligned with Ferrero’s commercial guidelines. You will also
support negotiations
by preparing compelling, insight‑based selling stories that connect customer needs with our strategic priorities.
Once activities are underway, you will follow the full journey — preparing customer offers, tracking in‑store execution, and evaluating the impact of each initiative. You will also contribute to
shaping the retail experience
through channel‑level category assessments that help elevate Ferrero’s visibility and performance.
Throughout all this, you will work closely with the POS Development & Implementation Manager to create materials that embody Ferrero’s quality and attention to detail.

Client & Category Management within FMCG , a comfort with cross‑functional processes, and an
analytical mindset
that spots patterns fast and translates them into action. Experience supporting
retail activations
from the shopper perspective helps. A background in Sales, Marketing or Trade Marketing adds a valuable, wider business lens.

internal dashboards

Fluency in
Romanian
and
English
