Relationship Manager (Client Operations) The Woodlands Brief Description Where Client Experience, Execution, and Operational Excellence Come Together

At United Capital, Relationship Managers are essential to delivering a seamless, high-touch client experience while supporting advisor productivity and growth. This Relationship Manager (Client Operations) role is designed for a detail-oriented, client-facing professional who thrives at the intersection of client service, money movement, and operational execution.

The Role As a Relationship Manager (Client Operations), you will serve as a trusted execution partner to Advisors, owning money movement, account maintenance, and client operational workflows. You will act as the primary coordinator across custodians, planning tools, and internal systems to ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities Money Movement & Cash Management

Process checks, one-time ACHs, journals, and occasional wires

Establish and maintain recurring ACH instructions (monthly, quarterly, annual)

Execute cash calls in and out and close or create CRM opportunities as needed

Process donor-advised fund payments

Execute RMD transactions, send distributions, and maintain RMD tracking spreadsheets

Prepare annual RMD reporting from TD and Fidelity

Complete Salesforce client distribution request forms when required

Process IRA distributions, Roth conversions, and DTC transfers

Coordinate loan paperwork against TD accounts (Tri State) and Fidelity accounts (GS Select Bank)

Daily Custodian Alerts & Account Oversight

Monitor and act on daily TD alerts including account closures, cash debits, margin deficiencies, NIGO items, ACAT restrictions, transfer activity, NSF payments, and standing instructions

Monitor and act on Fidelity alerts including account restrictions, G-number maintenance, money movement, RMDs, journals, and transfers of assets

Perform account maintenance such as advisor additions, address changes, registration updates, option and margin setup, and cash management features

Client Guidance & Planning Support

Update and reconcile client accounts within planning software following guidance meetings

Update client goals and guidance inputs as directed by Advisors

Save GuideBooks and guidance deliverables to client files and OneDrive

Client Access & Technology Support

Serve as point person for setting up client logins across custodians, Envestnet, and Guide Center

Strong familiarity with TD Ameritrade and Fidelity custodial platforms

Troubleshoot login and access issues and elevate when necessary

Educate clients on portal usage and walk them through tools as needed

Requirements What We’re Looking For

3+ years of experience in client operations, service, or relationship management within wealth management or financial services

Strong familiarity with Schwab and Fidelity custodial platforms

Experience handling money movement, distributions, and account maintenance

High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills

Series 65 licensing or ability to obtain within a defined onboarding period

Proficiency with CRM, planning software, and custodial portals

Desire to grow within a collaborative, advisor-centric environment
