The Role As a Relationship Manager (Investment Specialist), you will partner closely with Advisors and Investment Management to support client relationships, implement portfolio actions, and identify opportunities to deepen client engagement. You will act as a key execution and coordination point across planning, investments, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for day‑to‑day client needs in coordination with Advisors
Support Advisors during investment implementation, portfolio reviews, 401(k) rollovers, and client follow‑ups
Participate in client conversations related to investments, rollovers, and portfolio changes
Investment Management Support
Implement portfolio actions including raising cash, reallocations, journaling, and goal modifications
Submit and coordinate trades through the Trade Desk, including limit orders and single‑ticker transactions
Support implementation of alternative investments and GSAM strategies
Monitor reporting‑only accounts and elevate to Advisors when action is required
Assist with cost basis updates and resolution of trade‑related issues
Coordinate annual tax‑loss harvesting and bond ladder harvesting initiatives
Complete routine investment management reviews and audits
Schedule and conduct rollover calls with clients
Prepare and send pre‑call materials and post‑call follow‑up communications
Identify and document rollover and AUM opportunities
Update CRM opportunities and coordinate next steps with Advisors
Coordinate cash raises for management fee billing
Monitor Schwab and Fidelity alerts, including wash sales, expiring orders, and maturing securities
Support alternative investment billing and account maintenance
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of client‑facing experience in wealth management or financial services
Strong understanding of investment concepts and custodial platforms
Series 65 license required
Comfort working directly with Advisors, clients, and investment teams
Detail‑oriented with strong communication and follow‑through
Interest in professional development such as CFP® or CFA®
Desire to grow within a collaborative, advisor‑centric environment
