More about the role As

Sales Manager Horticulture West-Europe , you will lead the regional sales team to exceed financial and operational targets while driving growth across Benelux, France, IIG, and UK&I. Your key responsibilities include:

Achieving revenue, margin, and sales productivity goals while executing growth initiatives.

Expanding market share by identifying high-potential greenhouse growers and collaborating with the horticulture partner network.

Building strong relationships with horticulture partners and end users (greenhouse owners & growers) through proactive engagement and customer-centric strategies.

Managing customer offers to optimize satisfaction and sales.

Recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing sales team, with a focus on building technical and sales competencies.

Driving team engagement, fostering accountability, and ensuring CRM adoption.

Overseeing disciplined pricing, margin performance, discount structures, and rebate programs to maximize profitability.

Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies as needed.

Managing the regional project sales funnel, ensuring a strong pipeline, accurate forecasting, and timely deal closures.

Supporting Key Account Managers (KAMs) with strategic or complex accounts and ensuring smooth project execution and high customer satisfaction.

More about you

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, leading regional teams, and achieving revenue/margin targets within the horticulture industry. A strong network in the horticulture sector is essential.

Proficiency in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.

Sales management or leadership certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
