Sales Effectiveness Specialist
Wind River Environmental LLC, Marlborough, Massachusetts, us, 01752
We're looking for a
Sales Effectiveness Specialist
to help our field sales teams sell more effectively and consistently. This is a
senior individual contributor role
focused on
seller readiness, onboarding, and execution
— not people management. You'll work closely with field sales reps, sales managers, and Revenue Operations to translate strategy into practical tools, materials, and processes that help sellers succeed in the real world.
If you enjoy being close to the business, partnering with sales leaders, and building tools that actually get used, this role was built for you.
What You'll Do Enable New Sellers to Succeed Faster
Support onboarding of new field sales hires
Teach WRE's sales process, tools, expectations, and operating rhythms
Reinforce readiness through structured materials, sessions, and follow-ups
Improve How Sellers Execute Day-to-Day
Develop and maintain sales playbooks, guides, and reference materials
Support standard seller tools such as QBR decks, account planning templates, and internal sales materials
Help sellers and managers maintain strong pipeline hygiene and planning discipline
Support territory, route, and activity planning practices
Partner Closely with the Field
Act as a trusted partner to sales reps and managers
Translate leadership priorities into clear, actionable guidance
Gather feedback from the field and continuously improve effectiveness initiatives
Drive Consistency Without Bureaucracy
Standardize best practices while keeping tools practical and usable
Help teams adopt what works — without adding unnecessary complexity
Who You Are
A
hands-on sales enablement or sales effectiveness practitioner
Comfortable influencing without authority and working in matrixed environments
Credible with field sales teams and sales leadership
Energized by building practical tools and supporting real selling situations
What We're Looking For
48 years of experience in
sales enablement, sales effectiveness, field sales operations, or similar roles
Strong understanding of
field sales workflows , pipeline management, and seller routines
Experience supporting
new hire onboarding
and ongoing seller development
Ability to build clear, professional
sales materials
(playbooks, templates, presentations)
High proficiency with
Microsoft Office , especially PowerPoint, and collaboration tools like
Microsoft Teams
Strong
end-user knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC)
— able to coach sellers on effective daily use
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Willingness to travel occasionally within WRE's operating footprint for training and collaboration
Work Location This is a
flexible role
that can be based anywhere within WRE's operating footprint. Occasional travel is expected to support onboarding, training, and in-person collaboration.
Why Join WRE
High-impact role with direct visibility to Sales leadership
Opportunity to shape how our sales teams work and grow
Collaborative, cross-functional environment
Competitive compensation and benefits
The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $100,000 - $125,000 at the time of posting, with annual target bonus opportunity estimated at 10% of base pay. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
