US Citizenship or Permanent Residence required
Basic Experience:
Intermediate Excel, able to analyze data & apply customs requirements to data sets, 3yrs experience in General Customs plus 1yr Data Analysis or Logistics.
Preferred Experience:
Prior customs or Free Trade Agreement Analysis, SAP software, USMCA Canadian Customer experience is a PLUS.

Job Description Customs Analyst Primary Responsibilities
Extract and analyze (BOMs) Bills of Materials for free trade agreement applicability
Apply USMCA rules to determine qualification status - United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)
Follow internal work instructions governing free trade agreement analysis and qualification
Coordinate with supply chain on solicitation of USMCA certificates from suppliers
Review supplier provided USMCA Certificates (USMCA allows the certification of origin to be completed by the importer, exporter, or producer)
Analyze historical customs broker entry data to determine where post-entry claims should be made
Support post-entry filings, including FTA Reconciliation, post-summary corrections and duty drawback
Support other duty mitigation programs as needed
Basic Qualifications
Intermediate Excel skills
Ability to analyze data and apply customs requirements to data sets
Strong attention to detail
1-2+ years experience in data analysis, customs or logistics
Preferred Qualifications
Prior customs experience
Prior experience with free trade agreement analysis
Prior experience with SAP
