What You’ll Do The Art Director will lead the execution of creative for large-scale corporate events and live experiences. This role is focused on directing, managing, and overseeing the realization of creative concepts across scenic environments, branded spaces, and event installations.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in scenic fabrication, materials, print, production workflows, and onsite execution, and is comfortable managing complex, high end projects in fast-paced live event environments.
Responsibilities & Duties
Act as a primary client-facing creative lead to understand event goals and establish project scope
Direct the execution of environmental branding, scenic elements, directional graphics, and branded event environments
Manage production budgets and provide ongoing financial oversight
Concept development, craftsmanship and final execution of creative work
Oversee materials selection, scenic fabrication, manufacturing, and production processes
Coordinate with external fabricators, scenic shops, and production vendors
Collaborate closely with internal exhibits, scenic, and production teams
Manage and oversee onsite installation, load‑in, and strike to ensure creative accuracy and quality
Ensure creative intent is maintained while meeting timelines, budgets, and production realities
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience managing high end corporate events or live experience projects
Strong understanding of scenic fabrication, materials, and manufacturing for live events
Experience with environmental branding, directional graphics, and large-scale event environments
Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills
Ability to lead vendors, scenic shops, and cross-functional production teams
Working knowledge of design software for review, markup, and direction
Collaborative and team oriented
Ability to manage challenging situations
