More About The Role Burson has an immediate opening for a Digital Assistant Account Executive. You will support the execution of integrated communications strategies with a strong focus on digital channels. You will work closely with team members across functions including creative, digital, and client services, to help execute social media campaigns, develop content, manage digital reporting, and support strategic planning for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients.
What You'll Do
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of digital healthcare campaigns across social, web, influencer, and email platforms.
Support day‑to‑day content creation, including social media copywriting, visual asset coordination, and post scheduling.
Monitor client‑owned digital channels and conduct social listening to track trends, engagement, and emerging issues.
Compile performance metrics and assist in drafting monthly and campaign‑specific reports using tools like Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Google Analytics, etc.
Coordinate with creative and strategy teams to ensure timely delivery of digital assets.
Stay up to date on digital trends, platform algorithm changes, and FDA regulations related to healthcare marketing.
Support influencer identification and outreach efforts under supervision.
Attend internal and client meetings and prepare agendas, contact reports, and recap notes as needed.
Experience That Contributes To Success
0–1 years of experience (including internships) in marketing communications, public relations, or a related field; experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare is a plus.
Undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related experience is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong writing and research skills for a variety of digital platforms.
Basic understanding of digital and social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube).
Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Meltwater, Google Analytics) a plus.
Enthusiasm for healthcare and pharmaceutical communications, with a willingness to learn and grow in the industry.
Positive, team‑oriented attitude with a proactive and solutions‑focused approach.
Desire to work in a diverse and inclusive organization as an active participant in culture initiatives, training opportunities and employee resource groups.
