This role is ideal for an HR or labor relations professional with hands-on ER experience who enjoys partnering with leaders, supporting employees, and resolving workplace concerns with empathy and sound judgement. The successful candidate will counsel with the Employee Relations Manager to provide advice to the business that supports efficient operations while remaining attentive to employee needs and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and employment laws. Tact, diplomacy, knowledge, relevant experience, and the ability to multi-task are keys to the success of this role.* Under the direction of the Employee Relations Manager, manage the employee grievance process, from initiation to closure, including communication, documentation, and tracking.* Conduct fair, thorough and objective investigations into employee matters. Partner with HR COE’s, Employment Attorneys, Ethics & Compliance, etc., on complex or higher risk cases.* Provide guidance and coaching to People Managers on a broad range of employment issues, to include HR policies, employment practices, performance management, corrective action, and documentation.* Maintain accurate case documentation and identify trends or improvement opportunities.* Research company policies and procedures to understand and assess the applicability of such to issues that arise in employee/company interaction.
