Our client is seeking an experienced
Oracle HCM Cloud Implementation Consultant
to support an ongoing Oracle HCM Cloud implementation. This role will lead implementation activities and continuous improvement efforts to enhance HR business processes. The consultant will be responsible for documenting business requirements, system configuration, testing, and supporting deployment activities.
The ideal candidate is an independent, seasoned consulting professional with strong Oracle HCM functional expertise, deep knowledge of HR business processes, and experience delivering high-quality work products in structured implementation environments. Prior experience in the transportation industry and familiarity with industry-standard methodologies and technology design best practices are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multiple full lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion) implementations, from planning and design through build, testing, and go-live. Provide strong functional expertise across Oracle HCM Cloud modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Absence Management. Support and develop reporting solutions using Fast Formulas, OTBI, and other Oracle reporting tools. Lead and coordinate project teams, including workstream leads, ensuring milestones and deliverables are completed on schedule and meet client expectations. Gather, document, and validate business requirements and translate them into functional configurations. Facilitate fit-gap analysis, define as-is/to-be processes, conduct prototype demonstrations, and support functional design decisions. Develop solution blueprints and ensure best-practice process adoption throughout the implementation lifecycle. Conduct product familiarity sessions, workshops, and end-user training as needed. Lead business requirements meetings, facilitate discussions, and drive decisions with stakeholders. Coordinate configuration and design activities with functional leads across the Oracle Cloud HCM implementation scope. Guide testing cycles, including test case development, execution, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Support cutover planning and go-live readiness activities, including post go-live support. Assist business teams with legacy data conversion and validation activities. Provide ongoing expertise, anticipate project needs, and recommend alternative solutions when required.
