We’re intentionally early in our journey and we’re looking for someone who knows how to help take a company from Seed through Series A by building marketing the right way. Competitive base salary ($170K–$200K+) plus meaningful equity options Hybrid structure that values in-person collaboration. Set in-office days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Own marketing end-to-end at a pivotal stage of the company- you’ll be THE marketing function, not a manager of one this is not a brand or PR seat Build organic growth from scratch at a mission-critical healthcare company Work directly with the CEO and cross-functional partners (product, engineering, clinical content) to shape growth strategy We’re hiring a Head of Marketing to build and run our marketing function from the ground up internally. This is a senior individual contributor role- you will be the marketing function, not manage a team. This role is heavily hands-on and operational, with a strong emphasis on organic growth, content, community, SEO, and lifecycle marketing. This is not a brand-only or communications-led role. The right person will be comfortable building, testing, shipping, and iterating- especially in a lean, early-stage environment with no playbooks. This role is hybrid, with in-office collaboration on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in San Francisco. Own and execute the marketing strategy with a strong bias toward hands-on execution Run organic acquisition experiments across SEO, content, community (e.g., Reddit, advocacy partnerships), referrals, and lifecycle Build and operate the content engine (blog, newsletter, podcast distribution, and social), publishing at high velocity using AI-assisted workflows Build and run lifecycle marketing, including activation and re-engagement email programs, in close partnership with product Use data to prioritize channels, experiments, and initiatives that drive adoption Leverage AI tools daily to increase speed and output across content creation, experimentation, and analysis Establish foundational marketing systems, processes, and reporting Manage and optimize the website and landing pages Support and grow community engagement initiatives Run small-budget paid acquisition experiments to support learning Partner closely with leadership, product, engineering, and clinical content teams Work with vendors or contractors as needed (no large team initially) A brand-only or PR-focused role A people-management-heavy position 5–7 years of marketing experience, primarily in consumer-facing products Direct experience helping take a company from Seed to Series A (or a similar growth stage) Strong organic marketing background (approximately 80% organic focus) Experience with content marketing and community-driven growth Deeply data-driven and operational — you pull your own data, build your own dashboards, and live in the metrics Hands-on experience using AI tools and automations to materially improve marketing efficiency Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
