The Role As our
Founding Product Marketer , you will be the architect of our narrative, the champion of our customers, and the engine of our go-to-market strategy. This is a career-defining opportunity to build and lead the product marketing function at a high-growth, vertical AI company, establishing Bretton AI as the undisputed leader in AI-powered compliance.
You will work at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing to translate our sophisticated AI technology into clear, compelling business outcomes that resonate with financial institutions. Your work will directly shape our brand, empower our sales team, and solidify our position as the essential infrastructure for AI in compliance.
What You’ll Do
Own and evolve Bretton AI’s corporate and product messaging for all target personas, including BSA Officers, Chief Compliance Officers, and technical buyers.
Create and maintain a comprehensive suite of sales enablement tools, including pitch decks, battlecards, demo scripts, ROI calculators, and objection handling guides.
Partner with the CEO and content team to build and operate an AI-native content engine that produces personalized use case content and compelling customer stories.
Lead marketing efforts for all product launches, feature releases, and integrated campaigns by writing messaging briefs and coordinating cross-functional execution.
Serve as the expert on our competitors, buyers, and market landscape through continuous research and intelligence synthesis.
Collaborate with the deployments team to develop powerful customer stories, case studies, testimonials, and video content from our top accounts.
Track and report on the impact of product marketing initiatives on sales pipeline, win rates, and sales cycle times.
What We’re Looking For Must-Haves:
5+ years in B2B product marketing, with at least 2 years at an enterprise software company selling to large, complex organizations.
Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., fintech, banking, insurance, healthcare) and a deep understanding of buyers who operate under intense regulatory scrutiny.
A proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business value. Experience with AI, machine learning, or data-intensive products is a strong plus.
Mastery of messaging and positioning, with the ability to articulate a unique point of view and build narratives that cut through the noise.
Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to craft everything from punchy headlines to detailed whitepapers.
A track record of successful sales enablement, with tools that sales teams love and that measurably improve performance.
Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment.
Bonus Points:
Familiarity with the financial crime compliance space (e.g., KYC, AML, sanctions screening).
Experience with analyst relations (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, Celent).
A background in fintech or building messaging for highly regulated industries.
Experience with AI-native content workflows and a passion for leveraging new technologies to create content at scale.
