Job Overview Lead Fulfillment Associate
The Amazon operations team is looking for Lead Fulfillment Associates with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers. Lead Fulfillment Associates hold various roles within the Fulfillment Center including, but not limited to, Trainer, Process Assistant, Shipping Clerk, Dock Clerk, and Receiving Clerk.
Responsibilities
Train and mentor new associates
Assist in daily operational management of departments
Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met
Communicate instructions and motivate associates
Perform production duties as needed (pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, unload/load trucks)
Manage inbound flow from scheduling appointments to receipts and coordinate with carriers and corporate transportation
Handle shipping logistics, ship and track packages, and coordinate trailers to dock doors
Resolve issues on robotic floors and support Amnesty Floor Monitors
Oversee regulated waste program compliance and coordinate with Operations and EHS Teams
Provide data and analytical support for ACES initiatives, root cause investigations, and SoX compliance
Maintain accurate inventory and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
Qualifications
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
Age 18 years or older
Completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
1+ year of leadership experience directly managing others (preferred)
1+ year working in a similar environment (manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, large retail) (preferred)
Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train, and assist team members (preferred)
Benefits The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
