Lead Fulfillment Associate

Job Summary

The Amazon operations team is looking for Lead Fulfillment Associates with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers. Lead Fulfillment Associates hold various roles within the Fulfillment Center including, but not limited to: Trainer, Process Assistant, Shipping Clerk, and more. All role types will include performing production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks. Leaders will also be responsible for communicating instructions to other associates, motivating them, and keeping their work areas safe.

Lead Fulfillment Associate Role Types and Responsibilities ISS Representative Power Connector. Maintaining the link between Corporate Retail Teams and the FC, and reporting & re‑escalating tickets to Retail, Vendor Management, and Catalog. Plays an integral role in the RC by facilitating resolution or directly resolving problem items that cannot be received in the RC under normal conditions of receiving. Responsible for the tactical and strategic handling of Retail Request Tickets from Corporate.

Process Assistant Smooth Operator. Helps support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliers. Escalates barriers to Operations leaders. Drives and executes standard work in the areas of Safety, Quality and Productivity to meet daily operational goals.

Dock Clerk Dock Star. Manages inbound flow from scheduling appointments to time of receives. Duties include regular communication with carriers, corporate transportation group, management, and dock personnel. Responsible for planning inbound arrivals, ensuring carrier compliance, managing buffers, and leading dock personnel.

Receiving Clerk Mega Monitor. Schedules inbound deliveries in dock master using Advance Ship Notices. Communicates regularly with carriers, corporate transportation group, and receivers. Keeps up‑to‑date knowledge of scheduled appointments, monitors new releases, and communicates with other departments. Responsible for training backup clerks.

Shipping Clerk Super Shipper. Corresponds with multiple shipping companies and their contacts. Uses multiple shipping company’s software to ship and track packages. Coordinates trailers to corresponding dock doors and cross docks using OMA tool. Ensures proper processes are followed with the Trailer Dock Release program.

Non‑Inventory Receive Clerk Non‑Inventory Guru. Works with Procurement to administer the flow of non‑inventory goods. Organizes supplies, corrugate, safety equipment, and tools. Researches missing shipments and stages product in work areas. Operates PIT equipment to move goods, using computer skills to track and receive non‑inventory goods.

Regulated Waste Coordinator Functions as the lead for the Waste Program within the FC. Product and hazardous waste sent for resale, donation, or disposal are properly managed in compliance with all applicable regulations. Provides technical support and execution of the Regulated Waste Procedure, partnering with Operations and EHS teams to maintain compliance while overseeing the waste process.

Amazon Robotics (AR) Quarterback Main responsibility is monitoring overall floor health of the robotic field and leading safe and effective work dispatch for Amnesty Floor Monitors, ensuring minimum impact on downstream operations. Coordinates with local Learning, RME, and Operations teams, using real‑time data and dashboards during shifts to drive standard work practices and achieve daily operational goals.

Floor Health Monitor Autonomous, self‑sufficient operator. Amnesty Floor Monitors are associates that have undergone specific training to safely access the Amazon Robotic floors and perform a wide range of tasks. Responsibilities include resolving issues on the AR floor such as restarting a drive, or helping associates at stations with amnesty processing and prevention.

Data Analyst Works closely with the ICQA and Operations teams in Inbound and Outbound to provide data and analytical support for ACES initiatives, root cause investigation of defects, and ensures compliance with ICQA‑related SoX requirements.

Basic Qualifications

1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

High school or equivalent

Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

Are 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

A completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree

1+ year of leadership experience directly managing others

1+ year working in a like environment (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail)

Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train, and assist team members

Starting pay for this position is $25.00–$26.00 USD hourly. Final pay will be based on shift selection and location. Additional earnings include overtime pay and performance bonuses.
