Role Overview We are seeking a high-performing Head of New Client Acquisition (NCA) – Banking to lead growth in the BFS sector. This is an out-and-out hunter role, focused on acquiring new logos, expanding market presence, and shaping multi-year digital transformation engagements with banking clients. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in Banking technology services sales, deep understanding of core banking + digital + data/AI, and the ability to engage credibly with CXO-level leaders across business, operations, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive new logo acquisition within the Banking & Financial Services vertical
Define and execute go-to-market strategy focused on retail banking, commercial banking, wealth/asset management, payments, and risk/compliance segments
Lead the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, solutioning, proposal development, negotiations, and deal closure
Build a strong, predictable pipeline and drive accountability for bookings, forecasting, and funnel
Create targeted account penetration plays leveraging marketing, alliances, and industry events
Required Qualifications
15+ years in technology services sales, with 7+ years in Banking/Financial Services
Proven track record of hunting and closing multimillion-dollar deals in BFS
Strong understanding of banking ecosystems: core banking, payments, lending, channels, wealth, and risk/compliance
Deep knowledge of digital engineering, cloud, data/AI, and modernization programs
Excellent executive presence and experience engaging senior BFS stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
