What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Log and track commercial invoices, IPAC transactions, and related payment documents in the accounting system
Disseminate and track vouchers through Agency systems for administrative approvals
Input critical voucher and invoice data to facilitate payments
Identify and communicate deficiencies in invoice submissions, coordinating corrective actions
Maintain and reconcile physical and electronic payment files to support contract closeout
What is Required (Qualifications)
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting government payment processing, document control, or invoice tracking
Alternatively, eight (8) years of directly related experience in lieu of education
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple payment actions concurrently
Knowledge of federal payment processing policies and regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience utilizing federal financial management systems
Familiarity with the Prompt Payment Act and applicable provisions of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)
Proven ability to communicate effectively with vendors and agency stakeholders
