Become the Nutrition Specialist You Aspire to Be!
Your responsibilities will include:
Communicating with and counseling patients based on physician orders and dietary guidelines.
Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
Evaluating referral orders to ensure adequate nutrition intake methods.
Documenting relevant information in patients' medical records in accordance with established standards.
Implementing nutritional care plans and assisting patients with special dietary needs.
Conducting calorie counts and making suitable recommendations.
Reviewing and signing off on menus to ensure nutritional adequacy.
Qualifications
Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
State licensure required.
Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.
Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited institution with a focus in Food & Nutrition.
One year of clinical dietetics experience preferred.
