This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance public-facing digital services that impact the community positively. Due to federal security clearance requirements, the applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis.

As a W2 consultant, you'll benefit from an attractive package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance options. Rate: $40.00 to $50.00/hr. on W2. Responsibilities: Design and develop user-friendly, responsive, and accessible web interfaces using modern HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript standards. Implement popular CSS frameworks and preprocessors like LESS, SASS, Bourbon, and Twitter Bootstrap to enhance design workflows. Develop JavaScript employing best practices, including strict mode and modularization, using libraries such as jQuery, Backbone.js, Ember.js, and D3. Seamlessly integrate and consume RESTful APIs to fuel dynamic front-end features. Create engaging web layouts from static images and wireframes, ensuring a smooth user experience. Build views and templates within full-stack frameworks such as Rails, Express, or Django to complete the project. Collaborate effectively within agile teams practicing Scrum or Lean methodologies. Utilize Git and GitHub for version control, code review, and team collaboration. Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards across all developed interfaces. Contribute to and leverage open-source solutions and the wider development community. Implement and extend design system components using tools such as Figma. Conduct testing and support automated testing efforts as needed to maintain high code quality. Experience Requirements: 3+ years of professional experience in front-end or web application development. Hands-on proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries. Experience working with RESTful web services. Solid understanding of accessibility standards, including Section 508. Proven experience in agile development environments. Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control. Ability to translate visual designs into high-quality, functional user interfaces. Experience with Angular is preferred. Preferred familiarity with Python-based web development. Knowledge of Selenium or other automated testing tools is a plus. Experience implementing enterprise or government design systems strongly preferred. Prior experience supporting federal clients or large-scale public sector systems is a significant advantage.
