Role Summary The Senior Account Manager-North LA is responsible for driving sales and increasing revenue for Solta’s non-invasive aesthetic medical devices in the North Los Angeles region (including Burbank, Woodland Hills, Calabasas, Sherman Oaks, and the San Fernando Valley). You will develop territory sales strategies, manage customer relationships, conduct product demonstrations and training, coordinate user meetings and events to drive consumable usage, and collaborate with surgical and non-surgical specialists, marketing and clinical counterparts to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
Build and develop a sales strategy for the assigned territory and customer base.
Penetrate the territory with effective call planning, time management, and accurate forecasting.
Drive utilization through product demonstrations and customer training around indications, contraindications and safety.
Execute launch installation action plans and leverage reward programs and enrollment tools to drive consumable usage.
Coordinate and achieve high attendance at user meetings and introductory workshops; support and facilitate tradeshows and workshops.
Develop and maintain key relationships; identify new customers while sustaining and expanding the existing customer base; develop business evaluations and reviews.
Become a subject matter expert around the industry and competitive products.
Collaborate and maintain consistent communication with surgical and non-surgical specialists, marketing and clinical counterparts.
Generate leads and cross-selling opportunities for Capital Equipment Specialists.
Prepare sales contracts including terms, quotes, and pricing.
Administrative tasks including quarterly business plans, maintaining account profiles and customer databases, and expense reports.
Build customer loyalty through superior customer service and effective communication and maximizing customer contact.
Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience required.
Experience selling consumables or medical products to plastic surgeons or dermatologists in an FDA-regulated environment preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, surgical techniques and procedures preferred.
Skills
Ability to understand and communicate attributes and qualities of Solta products.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Ability to influence and close.
Effective time management and the ability to prioritize and adapt.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present clinical and technical information to healthcare providers and large groups.
Ability to connect with all levels of employees and coworkers.
Additional Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Travel up to 75% of the time to cover the territory; may include overnights, training or corporate meetings, and occasional weekends to support tradeshows or local events.
Ability to transport up to 60 pounds of equipment within the territory.
Technical aptitude to use various software programs and hardware (keyboard and mouse).
