Role Summary
Associate Director, Marketing for Cortrophin Gel (PCG) reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing. Based in Princeton, NJ with a 3-day-in-office requirement. Responsible for developing and executing the promotional strategy to increase awareness, conversion and utilization among target customers. The role requires marketing acumen and experience in rare disease and/or Nephrology, Rheumatology or Neurology, with a track record of growth in a competitive space, and will lead marketing efforts in the chosen therapeutic area for ANI. Responsibilities
Develop & execute the promotional strategy for PCG within their therapeutic areas. Develop and refine the positioning & messaging for HCPs and Patients for PCG within their therapeutic areas In partnership with the Analytics team, lead planning and execution of primary and secondary market research and other HCP and Patient insights gathering initiatives (inc. advisory boards). Lead the creation of compelling materials to articulate the promise of Cortrophin Gel to the market (e.g. creative campaign, videos, website copy, webinars, etc.) to HCPs and Patients In collaboration with sales leadership, develop best-in-industry tools and resources for sales organization. (e.g. Digital Visual aids, testimonials, in-office materials, etc.). Execute marketing programs and tactics to support brand strategy and drive awareness, conversion and retention Work within the marketing team to optimize strategies and resources across the different specialty areas: Nephrology, Rheumatology or Neurology Ensure appropriate analytical plans are developed and executed to measure promotional program effectiveness, efficiency, and ROI Manage marketing agencies and external partners to develop assets, campaigns and execute programs targeted towards potential patients Monitors and analyzes competitive environment and market dynamics and develops timely tactical plans based on findings Collaborate with the other commercial team members: Marketing, Sales, Sales Training, Patient Services and Market Access to ensure alignment and/or harmony of the core brand message platform and initiatives across all stakeholder audiences, including physician, payer, consumer. Ensure all promotional activities are compliant with all applicable rules and regulations. Skills
Ability to interact and lead effectively within the company (cross department and with all levels of the organization). Ability to manage and prioritize strategies, initiatives and workload proactively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Strong writing skills with proven success in authoring content for HCP and consumer facing markets that include patients. Ability to interface with key individual and organizational customers, industry contacts, and suppliers, using tact and diplomacy Exceptional project management skills including coordination, communication and adherence to budget and completion goals, prioritization and troubleshooting. Strong marketing/business acumen and experience managing external agencies. Adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations with some direction and respond to new information and unexpected circumstances. Understanding of the US promotional regulatory environment Ability to manage budgets Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (life science, marketing, business) is required; advanced degree (PharmD, MBA, etc.) is preferred. 5 - 8 years of US pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical commercial experience is required 4 or more years of marketing experience is required Experience/knowledge in one or several therapeutic areas is preferred: Nephrology, Rheumatology or Neurology is preferred. Experience in marketing rare disease products is preferred. Additional Requirements
Travel: 10-20% domestic travel.
