Preconstruction Director , bringing your
5+ years of expertise
in mechanical contracting, estimating, or project management to lead our preconstruction initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with clients, engineers, and internal teams to ensure our projects are primed for success from the planning stages through to construction. Responsibilities: Take charge of preconstruction processes for mechanical projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping. Oversee crucial aspects such as design coordination, budgeting, value engineering, and bid analysis. Review and finalize comprehensive cost estimates to safeguard project financials. Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Collaborate effectively with project managers and estimating teams to ensure alignment. Identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigation. Facilitate a seamless transition from preconstruction to construction phases. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field. Minimum of
5 years
of experience in mechanical contracting, sales, estimating, or project management. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and BIM processes. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Excel and construction/project management software.
