Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Lead Business Analyst, where you will be the key architect driving Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and product lifecycle management within Oracle's Fusion environment. This pivotal role enables Oracle to deliver cloud infrastructure systems globally, meeting the ambitious timelines for our Networking and Standalone Hardware products.
As the definitive authority on product data integrity, you will manage intricate BOM structures from engineering development through to manufacturing and End of Life. Your decisions will have a substantial impact on ensuring Oracle's infrastructure products are accurately defined, compliant, and ready for global deployment. This is complex work requiring not only strategic oversight but also exemplary cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities
Strategic Product Lifecycle Management
Plan and execute product release activities, ensuring all products transition seamlessly from engineering to manufacturing on schedule. Manage the entire product lifecycle, including new product introductions, sustaining releases, and End of Life transitions. Communicate significant milestones and critical issues affecting program execution to Product Teams and senior leadership.
BOM Architecture & Data Governance
Create, maintain, and control BOMs for diverse system configurations within the Fusion environment. Act as the single source of truth for product structure and configuration management. Manage manufacturing parts with precise attribution, leveraging data from both internal teams and external suppliers. Ensure BOM accuracy and compliance with engineering specifications and manufacturing needs.
Change Management Leadership
Lead cross-functional Change Management teams to evaluate and implement product changes effectively. Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Manufacturer Change Orders (MCOs), ensuring clarity and precision in communications with product teams. Establish governance processes balancing product improvements with manufacturing stability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Excellence
Represent coordination functions to resolve complex issues across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality organizations. Partner with contract manufacturers to guarantee smooth product transitions and ongoing support. Develop training materials to standardize processes and enhance team capability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product data management and release processes.
Leadership & Mentorship
Establish strategic objectives, estimating resources and time required for initiatives accurately. Mentor Business Analysts and product team members on best practices in BOM management and change control. Set standards for product data management organization-wide.
Required Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in product lifecycle management or BOM management roles. Proven experience with complex product structures in enterprise systems, specifically Fusion or Oracle Cloud. Demonstrated success in managing Engineering Change Orders and cross-functional change processes.
Technical Skills
Deep expertise in BOM structures and configuration management. Strong proficiency with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems. Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and methodologies. Knowledge of hardware manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.

The US hiring range for this role is $75,000 to $178,100 per annum, with potential for bonuses and equity.
