The Opportunity: Senior Technical Sourcer We’re looking for a Senior Technical Sourcer to help identify and source exceptional candidates for our engineering roles. Reporting directly to the SVP of Engineering, this position offers high visibility and the chance to have a large impact as we seek to double the size of our engineering team over the next year.

Top of funnel is a crucial bottleneck in our recruiting engine. We need a sourcing expert who can build deep understanding of our technical requirements, map talent markets accurately, and engage top-tier candidates with creativity and precision.

This role is location-independent in accordance with our remote-first policy. Candidates may be based anywhere in the United States, with optional presence in our San Francisco or New York offices.

What You’ll Own (Key Responsibilities) Strategic Talent Mapping & Sourcing

Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to build a deep understanding of role requirements and team needs.

Map talent landscapes accurately to identify and engage potential candidates across engineering disciplines (backend, frontend, infrastructure, data, AI/ML).

Source a high volume of qualified candidates when the role requires it, without compromising quality.

Creative Candidate Engagement

Utilize creative ideas and approaches to stand out and solve particularly difficult searches.

Craft engaging, personalized messaging that resonates with passive technical talent.

Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.

Data-Informed Execution

Track and analyze sourcing metrics to continuously improve effectiveness.

Be well-versed in the metrics underlying sourcing work (conversion rates, time-to-fill, pipeline health).

Provide regular updates and insights to the SVP of Engineering and recruiting team.

Collaboration & Relationship Building

Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure alignment on candidate profiles and hiring priorities.

Represent Hightouch authentically to candidates, conveying our mission, culture, and technical challenges.

What You Bring (Required Profile) Experience & Expertise

Proven experience in technical sourcing, ideally within high-growth SaaS, AI, or data infrastructure companies.

Ability to understand complex technical roles and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.

Strong writing skills – you can craft messaging that engages and excites candidates.
