Role Overview The
Growth Equity & Venture Analyst
supports investment teams focused on scaling technology-enabled businesses with proven traction and expanding market presence. This role blends
venture-style market analysis
with
growth equity–level financial rigor , including unit economics, cohort analysis, and scalability assessment.
Analysts work closely with senior investors, founders, and operating teams to evaluate growth-stage investments, support portfolio monitoring, and contribute to investment decisions across both venture and growth equity mandates.
Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate growth-stage and late-venture investment opportunities
Conduct introductory discussions with founders and management teams
Market sizing, category leadership analysis, and growth drivers
Competitive positioning and differentiation
Revenue quality, unit economics, and cohort performance
Operating metrics, scalability, and margin expansion
Financial statement review and forecast assessment
Build and maintain financial models, including revenue projections, scenario analysis, and return sensitivity
Assist with preparation of investment memos and materials for investment committee review
Contribute to sector research, growth theses, and market mapping initiatives
Monitor portfolio company performance and track KPIs against growth plans
Support value creation initiatives in partnership with portfolio company leadership
Assist with fundraising materials, LP reporting, and internal performance analysis
Stay informed on growth equity trends, public market comparables, and late-stage venture dynamics
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, data, or another analytical discipline
Strong interest in growth equity, venture capital, and scaling technology-driven businesses
Prior experience in investment banking, growth equity, private equity, venture capital, consulting, or operating roles at high-growth companies is preferred
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and research skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
Ability to balance strategic thinking with quantitative analysis in fast-paced environments
