Position Overview Fund Lifecycle Analysts support investment, operations, finance, and investor relations teams by coordinating and analyzing data across all stages of a fund’s lifecycle. The role blends financial analysis, operational oversight, and cross-functional coordination to ensure funds are launched, managed, and wound down efficiently and in compliance with internal and external requirements.
These roles often involve close collaboration with portfolio managers, fund finance, legal, compliance, operations, and investor relations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support fund launch activities, including structure setup, documentation review, and operational readiness
Track capital commitments, capital calls, distributions, and fund-level cash flows
Monitor fund performance, NAV calculations, and expense allocations
Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, auditors, and legal partners
Maintain fund data, reporting schedules, and lifecycle milestones
Assist with investor reporting, statements, and ad-hoc information requests
Analyze fund performance metrics across different lifecycle stages
Support regulatory, compliance, and audit-related processes
Identify process inefficiencies and opportunities to improve fund operations and reporting
Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for investment, finance, and senior management teams
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
Strong understanding of investment funds, fund structures, and lifecycle processes
Exposure to fund operations, fund accounting, or investment management preferred
Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with fund accounting systems, SQL, or Python is a plus
Ability to manage multiple workstreams across cross-functional teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate in deadline-driven, detail-oriented environments
Strong interest in fund operations, lifecycle management, and asset management infrastructure
