The Role:

Sales Executive

The Team:

We are a team focused on helping various automotive value chain stakeholders through the data journey - leveraging data, analysis, insights, and software to make informed decisions. We value a passion for data, analyzing data, and what insights it can drive. We are data geeks.

Once our partners develop that trust with us, it helps to forge a mutual beneficial relationship. This position will focus on a key stakeholder type, which is the public sector.

What’s in it for you:

Become the trusted advisor to automotive suppliers

Infiltrate and evangelize about the possibilities our data can create for our partners

Collaborate cross functionally with peers and colleagues to share best-practices and to ensure that the “voice of the customer” is reflected in marketing, product, operational and decision‑making processes

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a high level of understanding and knowledge of S&P Global Mobility products and services offerings. Learn new products, systems, processes and articulate them effectively to clients

Generate a sales pipeline matching S&P Mobility solution to customer challenges to produce revenue in line with quota

Frequently meet with customers in‑person and virtually to maintain and grow business

Maintain in real time all sales activity in salesforce with up‑to‑date information

Achieve assigned sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

What We’re Looking For:

Direct experience selling into automotive suppliers

Broad experience including supplier workflows and processes

Industry knowledge across including the automotive value chain with a passion to continuously learn about autonomy, connectivity, shared mobility and other disruptors that have wide‑ranging implications retail and distribution structure, original equipment manufacturing, aftermarket associations standards, formats and best practices

Ability to understand prospect workflow, strategy and objective to provide solution‑based approach for successful outcome

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
